Ruffda, my good man. You're a hot topic over on Volleytalk again. Someone called you cranky. Someone else checked your GopherHole posts and said "yup, still cranky". While maybe that's a little true you, my friend, are ray of spring sunshine compared to some of the asshats posting on Volleytalk. I don't post over there so I couldn't defend you. Sorry.

VT used to be a site to post and share thoughtful insights on matches and have spirited conversations. Now, like everything else, it's become political, attacking and just downright mean. I hardly ever post anything there but when I do, I try to keep that in mind.

There seems to be a lot of personal animosity between some of the posters over there. A lot of petty insults. It really takes away from the fun of it.

I think we should all remember to confine the insults to Wisconsin, Nebraska, Penn State, Kelly Sheffield, DBK, etc........ We've got plenty to work with there.

Speaking of youknowwho, it's one thing to criticize a player's performance, it's another to bash their character. This whole business about Wucherer being selfish is really low class on that poster's part. ESPECIALLY when the same poster makes a big deal about people using players' first names because "they don't know them." But he knows their essential character??

Makes me want to go on VolleyTalk and do some bashing ...

I have been impressed and pleased with Wucherer supporting her teammates this year. She was a part of almost every huddle on the bench and after the games. I assume that she was supportive of her team in practices and off the court.
