Former Players Updates

It looks bad now that vaihola is hurt and we are short on bigs, but frank wasnt a giant loss in my eyes. To me he's what they call in MLB a AAAA player. In the minor leagues he's great, put him on the biggest stage against elite opponents and he's quite average. No lift, no ability to pass or shoot, not great defensive. Again in our current situation I get it, we could use him, but those numbers aren't translating to the big 10.

Henley would be a very nice piece to this team...we could use an athletic 18 ppg...he was gone well before Niko arrived, however.

- Brennan Rigsby is at Radford and averaging 5.3 pts a game on just 21.6% 3 point shooting
- Frank Mitchell is at St Bonaventure, averaging 15.3 pts and 10.3 reb.
- Kadyn Betts has played just 4 games for Montana, averaging 3.3 pts in 5.8 minutes a game.
- Tyler Cochran is averaging 14.9 pts for Rhode Island. This is his 7th year in college and 5th program.

- Kris Keinys still shows as on the Pacific roster but has not played this year. Averaged 2.6 pts in 21 games last year.
- Isaiah Ihnen shows as on the Liberty roster but has not played this year. Averaged 10.4 pts in just 11 games last year. Had another knee injury last December and is apparently still fighting to get back from that.
- Joshua Ola-Joseph moved on to Loyala after a year at Cal, averaging 6.6 pts a game in 7 games.
- Braeden Carrington is with the badgers after a year in Tulsa, averaging 5.8 pts a game in 15.1 minutes a game.
- Pharrel Payne is back in the BT as well with Maryland after a year with Texas A&M. Averaging 18.9 pts and 6.8 reb in 8 games. Had what looked like a bad injury early in the season but appears to be just fine.

- Jaden Henley is with his 4th team in 4 years after going from MN to Depaul to UNLV and now at Grand Canyon. Had a nice year last year averaging 12.5 for UNLV. Off to a great start with GCU averaging 18 pts in 8 games.

I think that's it for guys still playing college ball.
Update time:

- Rigsby now down to just 3.8 pts a game. He's putting up his worst numbers of his career on a 13-13 Radford team.
- Mitchell at 16 and 9. FT % all the way up to 64.1%!!! Would have been nice to have him.
- Betts still not playing much for Montana. Just 9 games, 6.6 minutes a game.
- Cochran at 14.7 pts a game for Rhode Island.

- Keinys has still not played for Pacific
- Ihnen hasn't played for Liberty either
- Ola-Joseph up to 7.8 pts a game for a very bad Loyala (6-19). He's just very consistent with his production, each year averaging between 7 and 8 pts a game.
- Carrington is a douche, that's all I have to say about that.
- Payne hasn't played since December 13th, not sure if this is related to the previous scare/injury he had or something else?

- Henley continues his great season, 17 pts on 45% FG. 6th in scoring in the Mountain West

Man, Henley looked so soft his freshman year.

So much gets lost in the fact some of these kids are 18yos playing against men.

I hope so much that Asuma sticks around for 4 years. He's gonna continue filling out and be a problem.

Of the players listed I would say the ones that wouldve been nice to have kept wouldve been Frank and Cochran....really disapointed to not be able to see what cochran couldve done for us. He is a strong guard and think he wouldve really helped this year and Franks rebounding. Ive watched Henley as he has bounced around and I dont think he would have been a good fit on this team. He is a ball dominant player and needs a ton of shots for his scoring to be successful. I dont think he wouldve worked well with Medved.

I'd say we would welcome Payne back next year, but given his antics at the game on Sunday that's clearly not happening.

Any hints?
I believe it was Rockraven who is now Twisted. He also had like 5 other screen names at the time. There is another newish poster now (I can't remember the name), but if you disagree with him he'll go hyper cringe with graphic/sexually aggressive insults.
