I couldn’t force myself to watch that garbage. There was just way too much other competitive sports entertainment to watch tonight. I never miss a game, but I couldn’t even convince myself that was worth it after that first half.

Raise your hand if you were one of those who said he should never shoot any more 3's. Hypothetical practice (or Gopherhole) conversation. Coach: "Stop shooting 3's until you can make some!" JCJ: "How will I be able to make some if you don't let me shoot them?" Coach: Stop trying to confuse the situation!". :)

Held them to their lowest offensive output of the season. I will take that from this game and burn the tape. On to the next one.

My hand is sheepishly raised. Glad to be wrong.
 


20 assists on 22 FGs is pretty impressive. Also, did anyone catch Medved’s postgame interview on the court with Parker Fox? He said he was not happy with the game and how the team played which is really good to hear. You can catch it on the B1G Show from last night.

FDU shots 37/38.5/66.7 in the first half. I know we suffered through the Ben Johnson era but that is far from lights out.

I'm with you. And I'm not seeing his 'Above average defense' any longer, his guy goes past him all the time.
If Shinholster can get some confidence and look to score more I think he is more than capable of playing at this level.

Maybe Reynolds can be a sparkplug off the bench. Kai has earned starter minutes with his hustle alone

I didn't hear it, but I assume he didn't like the effort, which was so so at best. Additionally we settled for 3s in the first half and never broke the zone down. The second half was no clinic either but they were much better at working inside. It was really an attrocious game by the guards Asuma and Reynolds. Asuma handled well but shot terribly (2-14) and Reynolds was just plain awful.

I agree with others here that Shinholster is earning more time. He values the ball and he is after every loose ball and rebound, plus he plays good D.
