All Things 2025-2026 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

There's truth to this statement regarding SGA for sure, but nobody whines more than Luka and he still gets the Superstar treatment from the refs.

Ant does need to improve his demeanor with the refs, though. Good point.
Good point on Luka.

Nuggets 2-3 since Gordon was injured after losing at home (4th straight loss at home) last night to Dallas.
Suns beat Lakers in LA despite Booker only playing 10 minutes.

* NOP shot 55/57/86 and we still persevered. I would always prefer blowouts over inferior teams but I'll take any win.

* Our bench scares the **** out of me outside of Naz. We have arguably the worst 7-10 in the NBA but our Top 6 continues to produce.

* Fears and Queen are going to be very nice players for NOP and they have a hell of a trade chip in Murphy. I can't believe they sat back and missed their window to trade their IG Porn Pimp for any real value in return.

* Having an A/TO ratio of 29-9 will cover up a lot of problems for any team.

* Ant is definitely the "guy"...but still not convinced he is the "PG guy". His offensive output continues to be amazing, though.

* Randle was marginal tonight at best and still finished with 16/5/6. His current floor for productivity is incredibly high. He's better right now than KAT.

* Have yourself a game, Rudy. It's frustrating that this can't be replicated on a more frequent basis. At age 33, I'm convinced he still has 2-3 very good years left in him due to how well he takes care of his body.

* Finch continues to befuddle me at times with his substitution patterns and in-game coaching.

I'll take the win and never look back.

You had to go there. Yes, can his lame ass, too.

He's stolen enough from the Minnesota citizens.
Lol he will be back if the GOP tried to run Scott Jensen again. They apparently haven't learned that this state doesn't want Trump or Trumplite

The Pelicans went on a 15-0 run late in the first half, including multiple times where New Orleans got easy baskets because nobody got back on defense and Finch did absolutely nothing. Again.

Really nice to see Clark hit on a couple of 3 pointers.
It ain’t a Timberwolves game unless Dilly gets blocked at the rim.

This is exactly the kind of game we've seen them lose about a million times over the years. For that reason, I think it was a pretty good win. It's the sign of a mature, confident team that when the fourth quarter rolls around it knows it can and should put away losing teams.
Do you think NO would be stupid enough to give us Fears and something for Dilly plus Conley's expiring? Didn't think so.
Finch isn't perfect but the team wins with him and he skillfully manages a pretty imperfect roster while also managing the massive ego of a supremely talented man child and a one way center who is supposed to be the most stubborn player in the league.

Chris Paul is available.

The decision was not Paul’s and not one that was initiated by Paul, league sources told The Athletic.

These last few games, Edwards has been just a terror with his handles getting to the rim. I’d almost liken it to a good stick handler in hockey.

A platoon of Conley and Paul; with Dillingham getting schooled by both…. Could be intriguing.
