Gophers Fleck on closing the gap against top teams: "...Just because you want that doesn't mean that's going to happen."

He was scheduled to make $425 K before Heatherman left, but I can't find any info about an increase after his promotion. I would assume he got a bump upon assuming play calling duties probably somewhere along the lines of what Harbaugh made last year. Harbaugh around 730 K this year, up from $600 K last year. At year three Im not sure Harbaugh even a top 50 OC in salary, if we want one of the 25 or so OC that are currently over a million dollars than we need to amp up our salary pool. KC is making double what Harbaugh is at Rutgers
I agree that I would like to see more experienced coordinators. My biggest concern is evaluation of recruits at both the HS and portal level specifically on the Oline.

Is PJ wearing capri pants under orders from Heather?
I don't know if it's under orders, but if she's involved, I'm sure it's resulting in him getting more tail from his wife than most of us are getting from ours. Nothing gets the wife going more than a sweatshirt and a pair of jeans that have been worn for five days straight and have the crispness of a satin sheet

That's fair we haven't hit on a lot of oline recruits post Covid and the portal additions have not been good this year. Obviously it's too early to evaluate 2025 and even 2024, although Roy was clearly a hit. 2023 gave us Johnson and Daniels and McConnell but they transferred. 2022 gave us Beers but that's it and 2021 gave us nothing. On the one hand Callahan has put three guys into the NFL, so I think he has built some equity but obviously if the decrease in line play continues onto next year, after three years in a row it's definitely a trend and a problem.

Hello, anyone home?

Asan example between Iowa and the U. Their President entertains recruits in her suite, does the President of the U even attend games?

a lot of $$$$. and over a long period of time. 15-20 years of winning 9 to 12 games. A couple conference titles and quite a few trips to the CFP. Maybe not even win a national title but compete for several. A couple Heisman candidates and maybe a Heisman winner. Also some players go on to star in the NFL. nothing major really.
To solve the $$$$ issue just need to finance a 20,000 - 30,000 seat expansion of The Bank and then get 20,000 - 30,000 more folks hopefully wearing maroon/gold to shell out a couple grand annually to fill those new seats.

It would be really cool if some of those newbies also kicked in 6 figures or so to help out the NIL budget.
