I’m a big fan of Fleck. As a person and he’s a good leader of the program.

Terrible in game coach.

He won’t get fired. But if he leaves I really hope he’s replaced by someone with credibility. Pat Fitzgerald type.

That loose zone gets exploited every week. It can work against bad offenses, but good offenses absolutely wreck it. MN might need to risk going man to man and get after the QB.............oh who am I kidding. It doesn't matter.

He needs good coordinators. He doesn't have them. He's probably not leaving and we would get outbid for Fitzgerald.

We unfortunately are not a good enough program to survive 3 defensive coordinators in 3 years.

I agree with everything you said. Doesn’t need to be Fitz. But someone who has done something. Football Ben Johnson not going to cut it.

The Gophers can’t spend money they don’t have. Why is this so difficult for folks to understand? Oregon, the school, and Minnesota, the school, each spend money. Oregon the school spends a lot more on coaching staff.
But Oregon’s real advantage comes from what a single alumnus, Phil Knight, spends to buy player talent with NIL investments. The Gophers don’t have a Phil Knight to bankroll elite take talent and depth at all positions.

We can. We've chosen not to. That needs to change. I don't even care if they take $2 million out of the NIL fund and use it on coaches.
