Don't get it, how is it that a team that so easily defeats Nebraska last week loses a game to Iowa in this fashion. This game was over by the end of the first quarter. Iowa isn't that much better than Nebraska, what a complete embarrassment.

I personally don’t boo student athletes . That being said this is worst 1st half of football and hard to understand how we can play this poorly after beating NB last week.

In college football it’s not always who you play, it’s when you play them. Gophers were set up for a licking in this game. Iowa would beat them no matter when they play, but it could be a lot closer game.

We had one good game against Nebraska. I must admit I drank the cool aid but now it is obvious that Danny Collins is over his head. We knew what Iowa was going to do. We looked shocked that they were running the ball. This defense has talent unlike the OL which doesn't. This defense performance was unacceptable. Sorry to say but someone should be held accountable. Year 9 and have a game like this is embarrassing. PJ seat should be getting warm. I love the guy but this was unacceptable.

Alternate take. A similar situation from the past, except that it was by a team that actually had an offense, and played with passion and courage.

I was making fun of suggesting this team could come back like a competent offense.

yeah. My bad.

Not what I meant to say, but got sidetracked by the beatdown delivered today.

Should have said our offense couldn't do that against a real defense, but just mystified how we laid this big of an egg after last week, if ever.
