Question : if Benilde-St. Margaret’s is shown as an opponent, what does the SMB in Blake-SMB stand for/signify?!?

St. Paul Academy, Minnehaha, and Blake. I believe he goes to Blake.
 




I heard Chip say he played Varsity basketball at Hopkins first semester and then started some games for Minnehaha second semester last year, didn’t realize that was possible.
 


I believe he already redshirted/reclassified back a grade, so he's going to be more physically mature through HS.

Yep hopefully Cupe has done his part as both a good dad and a steward for the U. Some of the finest play action passes coming out of that backfield I can remember.
 

I thought Cupito was in Madison after college? Glad to see he made it back to the good side and hopefully he's developing a good one for the future Gophers.

He was. I’d see him out and about there (at Target, etc.) when we lived there roughly 20 yrs ago.
 

Dad was alright. The kid must be pretty sharp, based on performance.

Does he have an offer?
 






Brian Cupito was a warrior in the Big House in 2005. He took a beating, a physical pounding from Michigan and kept getting up until he couldn't. If his kid is anything like his dad he is built tough. The daughter is already a great basketball player at Hopkins I think.
