Gopher uniforms vs Purdue

I can’t remember the video I had to watch 100%
But I am 99% it was Georgia tech gold home uniforms that were no longer good as an example of a home color that doesn’t work.
And then the rule is your numbers have to be a color that would work as a home color
But the video was for high school uniforms
Perhaps the ncaa doesn’t care about this issue and they won’t go down that path

I can see where this would be more of a high school issue because you are dealing with much lower quality equipment and video quality than what most NCAA teams are going to have access too.

I don’t know about that.

Even with my wife’s google pixel phone, we can shoot some really high quality videos for our Only Fans page.

Out of curiosity.....why? Doesn't seem like it would give any kind of advantage in terms of hiding the ball or anything like that.

I’ve read that the main reason Bierman went to all Gold Gopher uniforms in the 30’s was for hiding the ball. Rest of the Big Ten didn’t care for it. Quote from the 1939 meetings One anonymous AD “when are the Gophers going to climb into different uniforms? Not only do they look like a bunch of teddy bears; they are also hard to see and hard to follow, especially when the burnt out fall grass begins to look just like them“

Yes.
Just like 80-90% of the time college and high school end up matching rukes

But that still leaves 10-20% where they don’t
