Ohio State football vs. Minnesota weather forecast

According to the Weather Channel, there should be no issues with the forecast for Saturday night. At kickoff, it will be 72 degrees. By the time the game ends, the temperature will drop to 63 degrees, but it will still be clear. There is no chance of precipitation for the game.

The wind will not be a factor at all, either. It will be blowing 3-6 mph throughout the contest, with gusts up to 10 mph. That means that neither the kicking game nor the passing game will be affected by outside forces. The Ohio State Buckeyes should be able to execute without an issue.

Minnesota would have had a better chance to pull an upset if the weather had been poor. The Buckeyes are too talented to be stopped by a team like the Golden Gophers without some luck being involved. The weather could have been a good equalizer for them.

The streak of great weather for the Buckeyes continues. How long that will last remains to be seen. Ohio State should appreciate it while they can.

Go Gophers!!

We can't run the ball. Throwing, and throwing a lot is better in perfect weather.

When I read material from Ohio State Fans, I come to the conclusion that the question is more about how will the Buckeyes affect the weather than the other way around.

i just hope to keep it somewhat competitive like we did in 2021
That game where tOSU scored touchdowns of 71 yds (run) in a 5 play, 92 yrd drive in 1:42 seconds, 38 yds (pass) in a 7 play, 81 yrd drive in 2:17, 56 yds (pass) in a one play drive in :08, 70 yds (pass) in a 3 play, 75 yard drive in :56 , and 61 yds (pass) in a 2 play 75 yrd drive in :52?

Yeah, we had them right where we wanted them all night. Except for those 5 long touchdown plays, we almost won that game.

The game was never as close as the score indicated, but we did take advantage of a first-game scenario to try to win vs. trying not to lose—the first, and last time in Fleck's tenure at Minnesota.

We caught tOSU beginning a transition year (their defense had a down year most of the season), and while we kept it close, we weren't really within striking distance, even with Mo in the lineup.

We held the ball for 10:51 seconds on our first two drives (21 plays) in the 4th quarter and scored 10 points. They held the ball for 1:48 and scored 14 points on the drives immediately following our scores (in 5 plays).

They ended up with the ball for the last 3:59 of the game because of our second turnover.

Like the Buffalo game for us this year, Buffalo kept it close. Had a chance, but were never really in the game. We took care of business when it mattered, like tOSU did to us that night.

I don't expect to win Saturday (Mo aint' walking through that door Saturday night), but I hope we come out and go down swinging like we did in this game.
