I bet this was a fun in game thread. Let me guess calls to fire the entire staff?
Yes. The coaches read those comments between the 1st and 2nd quarter and thought Hey guys we'd better change things up.I bet this was a fun in game thread. Let me guess calls to fire the entire staff?
I'll bet we have a whole lot of folks who know so much more than guys who have made it their career.I bet this was a fun in game thread. Let me guess calls to fire the entire staff?
Never a big fan of “icing the kicker” strategy. Assume he makes the the FG and Much rather have the 23 secs and 2 timeouts in my pocket.Congrats on the win despite the coaching staff’s attempt to screw it up.
Up until this game they didn’t have a run D either.KC's offense this year looks a lot like the 2019 Gophers. If Rutgers had a pass D they'd be dangerous as hell.

FYI, Rutgers scored 28 vs Iowa. They also got more yards vs Iowa.Drake is massive hitting the TE's
Great passing
Now we just gotta get Danny Collins to not call the defensive like he's never called a defense
If Fleck had Ciarrocca and Hetherman MN would be a top 10 team in back to back seasons.Up until this game they didn’t have a run D either.

I'm going to assume Iowa tackles better than we do and actually likes to do a thing of putting pressure on the QB.FYI, Rutgers scored 28 vs Iowa. They also got more yards vs Iowa.
I'd say they do tackle better, and do a better job of pressuring the QB without blitzing. I don't think they get too exotic or carried away with sending extra rushersI'm going to assume Iowa tackles better than we do and actually likes to do a thing of putting pressure on the QB.
And to be fair I did say "calling", which is not the same thing ... but at the end of the day, the buck stops with Danny Collins. If the guys aren't tackling well, the buck stops with him. He needs to emphasize it more in practice. And so onI'd say they do tackle better, and do a better job of pressuring the QB without blitzing. He is great. And a freshman. $$$$$Lindsey is freaking good. Lot's of talented players stepping up.
Talent at the skill positions and defensive front might be held back by injured RBs and question marks in the O line.
We had 7 sacks ffsI'm going to assume Iowa tackles better than we do and actually likes to do a thing of putting pressure on the QB.
We weren’t close to top 10 last year with Hetherman. We aren’t top ten last year or this year with those two.If Fleck had Ciarrocca and Hetherman MN would be a top 10 team in back to back seasons.
I missed a lot of the first half, but how many came from just sending 4? I'm not saying we don't get pressure, I'm saying Iowa tends to get more pressure rushing 4 than we do. At least they have in recent memory. We had 7 sacks ffs
One "sack" at least was from their Center errantly snapping the ball.I missed a lot of the first half, but how many came from just sending 4? I'm not saying we don't get pressure, I'm saying Iowa tends to get more pressure rushing 4 than we do. At least they have in recent memory.
The gopher pass rush is non-existent. It's unbelievable. One "sack" at least was from their Center errantly snapping the ball.
AK constantly had excessive time to pick apart the coverage.
I think it a win/win for bothAK can read a defense now. He can actually complete a crossing pattern now, too. He still does stupid shit when under pressure....thank goodness.
I think it a win/win for both
AK has a good thing going with Rutgers.
We have a good thing going with Drake.
Everyone should be happy!
I think he already is.God this kid is gonna be special
