Well, it should be an interesting season for Badger fans as they now struggle to see where their 3rd or 4th victory will come from this year. I watched 4 offensive series in between the 1st and 2nd Qtrs and that might be the worst Wisc offensive line performance I've seen in maybe 30+ yrs. In just those 4 series I think I saw the RB get hit 3 yds deep in the backfield maybe 3 or 4 times. You know how bad things are and how frustrated the fan base is getting when the site Admin changes the Buckyville football fan forum page header to the following by the end of the game.

At this rate, will Fickle survive to the end of the season?

If they don’t beat Iowa I think he’s gone. But then again this is the Wisconsin AD we’re talking about
Tbh McIntosh may not have a job that much longer. Fickell is a disaster. Hastings (hockey coach) has been awful. So far his hires look bad and either he can hitch his wagon to Fickell or try move on. If he keeps him they may both go after next year

Gopherhole twitter page re-posted something I forgot about. Sconnie extended Fickel just this year. I don't think he'll win another game this year, but not sure they'll fire him. We'll see..

They extend every year. It doesn’t move the buyout. But they extend anyone who is “satisfactory” annually

Who’s going to start the Chris McIntosh appreciation thread. Say something nice about Chris.
It’s unreal that a team in the big ten west that was red and white with a great brand decided to go west coast offense then decided to hire a west coast guy (Mike Reilly)

Years later another red and white team was like…you know what. Air raid. 3-3-5.
Let’s completely abandon the identity that made us a top 15-20 program in the nation.

I wish Wisconsin the success of post pelini Nebraska

Watched off=and-on for parts of the first half as I was flipping between games. Wisconsin, for lack of a better term, looked terrible. As someone above wrote, they had trouble running the ball and Edwards was supposed to be their savior at QB. Their only hope is that he stays on the field, because O'Neil isn't any better than Locke.

I don’t think he’s even as good as Locke

Decided to tune into Fickell's press conference, and it's really evident that he doesn't know what he's doing. Was asked about what identity the team had and he openly had no clue, and around the ten-minute mark he starts talking about how people assumed that "pounding the rock" meant returning to their run-first philosophy but actually it's this weird knockoff row the boat mantra that he's trying to instill into the players. He's turning into a dollar-store version of PJ without any energy, confidence or charisma, and I don't think he lasts much longer.

Bucky is no longer a steroid induced program.

There O'line looked different than everyone else's every single year.

I was on a Wisconsin board reading their stuff and many were saying how skinny their offensive lineman are in the legs. They aren't on the same offseason program anymore.

Break the rock was like a hook or something
Same vibe as chop wood carry water

Etc

Both my neighbor and father-in-law are “huge” Badger fans. We always talk about CFB, and the Gopher game and Badger game of the week. Both of them can’t stand Fickell and have boycotted watching because of it. Whiney babies. They built a fan base on fickle babies that flee at the first sign of adversity. For years they puffed out their chests like they were the greatest thing.

For all the obscenities and batteries/beers thrown at me at Camp Randall, they deserve years and years of wandering in the desert of shit.

Seems like conflicting information on the buyout amounts going forward in different articles but,

he's probably not getting paid $25 million to go away after this year.
