Kind of funny how that goes, isn't it! Every year the people around me seem to get younger and younger!!
 

Hello all. I'm happy to report that I celebrated my 78th birthday two weeks ago.

It's been a while since my last posting. Nevertheless, some of you old timers probably remember my moniker DL65 and when I started and posted the Sports Huddle Recap series for seven years. SON took over the recap duties when I stopped posting the weekly show in early June 2017. Also, I conducted the Gopherhole Survey for a few years.

In any case, it's good to be back, as I plan to be an active participant, again.

SON has not resurfaced which is concerning. You must know better than any of us whether he’s still kicking. Don’t tell him but he is/was one of my favorite posters; brought a distinct flavor.

I will check with the alumni association. Augsburg homecoming is in early-October and I will be over there for my 50th reunion. SON was a couple of years behind me, but there may be some who have heard. SON is a great guy and can be quite a character. After I graduated, I worked the Lutheran
Brotherhood Invitational basketball tournament as his spotter and it was three very entertaining days.

Please have him post at least one more time so that we know he's OK.

I'm Augsburg 1982. Football sucked but I was lucky enough to be the NAIA statistician for one season (1979) and the hockey statistician for home games on the Auggie's National Championship runs in 1981 and 1982. The 1981 team was dynamite, scored 24 goals in the three tournament games.
