Other B1G programs in the 26-50 range:

26 Minnesota
27 Washington
32 Nebraska
42 wisconsin
43 Michigan St
44 Rutgers

I keep looking at Wisconsin's schedule and unless they are better than expected, I really think 3-9 is possible. Maybe they will pull a rabbit out of the hat to save their coach's job but that is a really difficult schedule.

My daughter will be a senior there (yeah, I know) and she was worried about getting student season tickets today but got them without a problem. I don't pretend to be an expert on Wisconsin student season tickets for football but I'd have to think everyone feels a little doom and gloom regarding their upcoming season.

Win our first game decisively and we should hit the top 25 before week 2. That makes staying ranked throughout the year a lot easier. I’d love to see the Gophers ranked for 13 straight weeks (2 bye weeks).

The Full List:

1. Penn State
4. Ohio State*
7. Oregon*
11. Michigan
16. USC
18. Indiana
23. Illinois
25. Iowa*
26. Minnesota
27. Washington
32. Nebraska*
42. Wisconsin*
43. Michigan St*
44. Rutgers*
53. UCLA
63. Maryland
67. Northwestern*
68. Purdue*

Of note, Cal* is ranked 59, Buffalo is ranked 100*

Edit: Added Buffalo

I would assume that after the 2024 entry of pre and post season ranking that all others are pre-season. I believe we were AP #10 at the end of the season.
That’s true

But the way I read it those were all the postseason ranks. I may have read it wrong

You read it wrong.

The phrase used was "they haven't finished inside the top 25 since" (they were 18th in the final playoff rankings before the bowls/playoff, and finished 10th in the final AP and Coaches poll.
