Murray State making it to Omaha is one of the best stories in college sports. This is their stadium it holds 800 people. Their head coach Dan Skirka literally cuts the grass.

Has anybody seen a list of Gophers playing in summer leagues? I just looked through the news section on the Gopher’s website and didn’t see anything

He (along with all of Mizzou) had a really tough season. 11 appearances and only 2 innings where he didn't give up a run. Had a good run in the Iowa JUCO's. Stat wise he's similar to some of our freshman arms in the bullpen. Here's hoping he gives us a little extra depth that we didn't have this year and can be called upon to extend some weekends.

The last few years they have not been publishing this until July - more of an 'update' than 'here is where they are playing'. I am guessing the reason is the transfer portal.

Saw he had an oblique injury this season.
Another addition as well RHP Marcus Kruzan from St. Thomas

Are you saying they should have passed on Morton? Couldn't disagree more if that is what you are getting at. They had some solid adds in the portal last year Selvig looked pretty solid before trying to pitch through injury and ultimately having to be shut down but had barely thrown at Texas. Sperry was a reliable piece this season. Urban came along nicely late in the season as a freshman. Both Gregory and Kruzan threw a lot of innings this year and come in with experience.

Looking at that list, can the U even compete against D3 talent? My how this program has fallen off.

Can add Parker Lewin to the transfer list, another guy who didn't play.
Looking at the activity I feel like we have improved our pitching. If Morton stays healthy he will be a really big piece. Kruzan and Gregory have both thrown a lot of innings in their career bringing experience. Kirchoff really struggled this year but I'm not putting much stock into anything that happened at Mizzou this season.
Hamilton is a solid bat as a corner infield type. Not elite defensively but made some solid plays this season.
With the deadline to have the 34 set not until Christmas I do wonder if we see teams bring in 40ish guys and cut down after fall ball.
