2024-25 Wild Season

But you knew it was coming after the Wolves advanced last night. Sports gods only allow so much joy for us.

How about the missed penalty on Vegas 2 missed penalties in the last 2 minute of the 3rd, Wild can't save there season.

Also the missed calls is not the reason we loss to Vegas. up 2-1 and couldn't win game 4 is what cost us the series.

Yeah can’t really say watching hynes he does anything that really makes a move to give us an advantage. Tried to skate kk into the ground all series and he visibly wore down (weird how 20+ minutes relatively fresh off an injury does that)

That said, this team was not as good or deep as Vegas. Still the players played well enough to have the chances to win and couldn’t do it

Man hockey is a funny game. You could make a legitimate argument that this was the best game the Wild played all series. Oh well, way more competitive than I thought we would be. Hate to admit it but the better team won. Congrats Ogie

Adin Hill picked a good time to play his best game of the series, and Eichel stepping up in the last 2 games helped a lot. Happy there will be no Game 7, that's for sure.

I'm sorry, but there is just too much luck in hockey.

Deflections, lucky bounces, etc. Great sport, but the luck needed is off the charts.

It didn't seem like the Wild got lucky bounces

9 straight Playoff Series the Wild have been "unlucky".

Kaprizov - and nobody else on the Wild, for that matter - got “run into the ground”. Our top players were not overused. Double shifting Kaprizov (and Boldy tonight) wasn’t dumb. It was smart. Very smart. I seriously question if anyone watching closely and saying these dumb-assed things ever played the game.

Nyquist blew a play. No doubt. He also played extremely well down the stretch of the season and in the series. Gus let in a couple easy ones. But was incredible the rest of the series. Boldy and Kaprizov are superstars. Just don’t put Matt at D on the PP with another forward as his partner. Hartman played excellent. Foligno played very well - especially tonight. Faber is a budding superstar and a foundational piece. Guerin made a great call locking him and Boldy up early.

Hynes. Terrible move to elevate Buium to PP1. Awful. Stupid. Also don’t understand why Gaudreau is ahead of Rossi. Both shit moves. Hidsight is easy, but Chisholm instead of Merrill (and Buium) would have been my preference.

Tail of the tape points out, just like the game scores, that the Wild lost the series but didn’t get beat.
This was a very competitive series, but the Wild really need to solve the same problems as last year, the PP and PK.

Yeah PK 30th out of 32 in the NHL. Worst ever in franchise history. Uffda.
