Hey Pat, you’ve had some great articles in your career, and some heed ones recently, but this ain’t one of them.

I think you forgot that Fleck approaches each game as a championship, and they celebrate the wins like it.

I think a better article would be how long will Fleck continue to crowd surf his team after a win. You could have a lot of fun with it.

Coaches constantly preach to treat every game the same. Whether it's Ohio State, wisconsin, or Rhode Island.

If you say "Rhode Island isn't good enough to celebrate beating" then not only are you killing fun but you are also sending the message that you should downplay supposedly lesser foes.

Categorizing your opponents like Reusse suggests invites losing to Bowling Green and other letdowns.

IMHO, P.J. Fleck has done admirably with the talent that he has in the crazy NIL/B1G new world order. Managing rosters in middle to lower-tier programs must be a nightmare.

The amount of people that care that much about the crowd surfing is mind boggling. It's fine if it's not your cup of tea, but clearly the players enjoy it.

Id agree with this. I feel like we always find a way to shoot ourselves in the foot just enough to be good not great. B seems fair, though definitely closer to an A than a C. But that has nothing to do with how we celebrate beating Rhode Island.
