NDSU came to town twice in the last days of the doomed Dome in '06 and '07. Grinnin' Glen's last squad eeked by a victory with three field goals while Brew's First Crew went down to defeat dominated by the ugly green horde on both sides of the line.

The Bizon traveled well both games but believe the first one had more roaming herds of the green bedecked rubes all over downtown tuning up for the game than the second.

The Billds parked at a surface lot on Washington at Portland in those days and walked the 4-5 blocks to the MetroDump as it was affectionately known. Unfortunately cannot un-see while taking that walk multiple green-clad "ladies" dropping trou to relieve themselves along the buildings. In their soporious state they must have imagined downtown MPLS as being in the canyons of the Black Hills in 1883...where you went where you were and that was that. More than one had trouble standing up again but they had left their mark...or so to speak.

Classy behavior not. Yes, it is fine to hate green.
