Fun game, way too tense at the end. At one point it was McKinney 26-Belmont 26.

Hard to say, but is it better to be one and done in the NCAA or win the WBIT? For developing players, getting experience, it is probably winning the WBIT. But I am hoping next year brings them to several wins in B1G tournament and at least one or two in NCAA.

A great last game of the season. As Tori put it, the second most important champion in the country!

There's no telling who will stay and who will go, but the program has great momentum and will be in a good position to replace anyone who bolts.

Heyer is an elite rebounder...and when she scores like she has the past 2 games she is a major factor. And Tori so solid on both ends of the court. This team has some good momentum going into next year.

Congrats to the Minnesota WBB program! Way to finish the season. WBIT champs after only two years with Dawn Plitzuweit at the helm. The future looks bright and top recruits will finally want to play here.

I’m really proud of this group. Not many teams get to end the season with a win. I hope they can use this as a spring board for next season.

This was a fun game to watch, when the ladies were in attack mode. Those first 8 minutes of the 4th made me nervous as turnovers and poor defense cut at the lead. It was good to see the comradery of the team. I hope the core stays for next year.
If I can have a wish for next season, it's another stellar point guard to help Amaya and a big post who can run the floor. This team needs to be bigger to get a deep run in the Dance next season.

Congrats to the Gopher coaches, players and fans on the winning the championship! A few years back Indiana won the championship and it moved that program forward and made contenders out of them. Very well can happen for Minnesota also.
