I saw A Complete Unknown. Spoiler Alert, things work out all right for Bobby Z from Minneapolis.
I thought it was great, both the story and the music. Really great set design. Just how I imagine the Village in the early 60s to be.
How they pulled off the song performances, live to tape with actors not known for music chops was just an unbelievable achievement. Had to be over 50 songs referenced.
I'm just about to pull the trigger on watching A Complete Unknown. I've held off mostly because I'm not sure if the wife would care for it, and in tiny part because I was never a huge Dylan fan myself, despite living on the Range for a fair bit. She gave the green light not long ago so I would guess sometime this week we'll give it a go.
Finally saw "Anatomy of a Fall" the other day. It was decent, not sure it was great? We enjoyed it, I just don't know if it was enough to tell others to run and watch it.
