All Things 2024-25 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

Enrique Freeman with a pretty cool box score stat for the Pacers. Scores two points with no time played.

Warriors, with Curry resting, able to beat the Bucks.

Pelicans are 2-8 in their last 10
Minnesota now 20-15 both at home and on the road.
Pelicans 6 road wins are the least in the league. Trey Murphy out. Suffered a torn shoulder in Monday’s game.

I wonder what the Pelicans are going to do on Thursday night - MOA, Juicy Lucy's, ice fish for crappies???

Time to start a new winning streak.

I still haven't gotten over that loss. Am taking a break from the Wolves for awhile.

That is what this season has been for me. So many losses to teams that had multiple starters out. The Wolves should be in the top three for sure if they would have just taken care of business. I was hoping they turned a corner.

Nuggets at Lakers tonight.

Haven't seen it mentioned, but that 20 free throw attempts by Edwards against the Pacers, I think, is the most in his career.

Do not give Naz Reid big money.....he is putrid defensively and has been putrid offensively for a month straight.

Do not pay NAW.

This team can't jump. How do we get another player in here?

Did McDaniels play tonight?

Rudy was nailed to the floor all night.

If Conley wasn't hitting 3's, we may get run out.

Mark another bad home loss on the ledger.
It's a bad loss, but it's not the least bit surprising.

They will beat us again on Friday. Watching us try to guard Zion is the most laughable thing I've ever seen.

No FGs in the final 3 minutes, probably not ideal. Two missed layups and a missed 3 for Mr. Clutch.

Not sure what is worse between watching Ant self destruct every close game or Naz play defense?

Lots of killer take-aways from last night.

We are so streaky on defense lately. Ant playing hero trying to drive the basket is fine, but he's either got to make the shot or draw the foul - or both. He's doing neither. We missed critical FTs down the stretch, dried up from beyond the arc, and yes, the offensive rebounds.

Finch needs to figure out how to motivate his team, get them back on track quicker, and figure out how to slow down Zion.

I saw somewhere he is only finishing 58% of the time at the rim. That is the lowest percentage for him since his rookie year. At least they have learned not to punch walls after bad losses like a couple of years ago.

Looks like Play In.

Man, Zion looks unstoppable against us.

Clark needs more fourth quarter minutes. The wolves need to actually run some plays in the last minute instead of Ant putting up double teamed threes or, if all else fails, tossing the ball to Julius late in the shot clock. His late game tunnel vision is killing them.

Zion out for tonight. .

Only caught the first half. They shot it well, tons of assists, won the turnover battle. A much needed win. Back up to 7th in the standings. Edit: incorrect, 8th, 2 percentage points behind the Clippers

Nice of Finch to start Ingles.

The Cavs maybe getting their 4th straight loss tonight?

The play in sucks because it's extra work, combined with danger.
But if you come out of there and wrangle the 7 seed vs. Den/Mem/Houston that gives you the best parh to the Conference Finals, IMO
