All Things 2025 NCAA Tournament Games Thread

Good thing Minnesota didn’t hire Dutch.
UNC played well, but San Diego State looked about as bad as they can look, and definitely nothing like cohesive previous year's teams. Terrible handling of the ball, like they had oil on their hands, especially Compton. Some of their shots it's like they threw it at the rim. . .

Today's games:

Mount St. Mary's vs American
Xavier vs Texas

Xavier is likely going to have a home crowd advantage being the games are in Dayton.

Go Gophers!!

McAndrew from Wayzata is lighting Louisville up after getting pulled after an ill-advised pass.

Creighton wins by 14 with only 1 3pter in the second half. McAndrews vs Hadley representing MN. Not disappointed to see Louisville go home early. Now we're onto Wisconsin losing to Montana. Nothing against Purdue, and want the B1G to look good, but really hoping this High Point team can go far.

Louisville out. Two (legit) acc teams left.
Could easily be one left in a couple hrs.

Hmm, pretty much every team in the tourney is legit. Nobody saw NC building a 40 point lead. I know it's only one game, but nobody wants to face a team who just won by 28 in the first round of the tourney

It's early, but Will Wade is looking like the man once again. Lot of fans cheering for this one in the south

For me, picking McNeese over any ACC team other than Duke was easy money. Love the way McNeese plays. They sure seem distracted by the Wade and NCST news....SMH

They shouldn't be there. Would be something if they made a run though. Us against the world mentality.

Wild seeing how different the ACC is now from 10 years ago but look at the coaches they had at one point in about 2015:
  • Tony Bennett, 1 National Title, 1 Final Four
  • Jim Boeheim, 1 National Title, 5 Final Fours
  • Rick Pitino, 2 National Titles, 7 Final Fours
  • Roy Williams, 3 National Titles, 9 Final Fours
  • Mike Krzyzewski, 5 National Titles, 13 Final Fours
With those coaches gone and the conference realignment, the ACC has definitely taken a step down.
