2023-2024 College Basketball Other Games Thread

PSU and IU lose. MSU gonna raise their NET by about 30 with this performance. Will make up for NW's dropping by the same amount. OSU and Purdue opportunities still remain.

Duke style?
It was a loose ball scramble and the Georgia Tech guy tripped himself with a Penn State guy nearby. Didn’t touch him, but ref assumed there was contact. Tech then made both free throws. Tough way to lose a game.

Against Oak Hills Christian out of Bemidji. They have one player taller than 6’4”. I have no idea why this was ever scheduled.

This isn’t an attempt to make fun of Oak Hills. They’re playing a sport they love. This game should have never been scheduled.

Looks like it has been whittled down to 4 teams left undefeated?
Houston 11-0
Oklahoma 10-0
James Madison 10-0
Mississippi 10-0

On the flip side, teams with nothing in the win column
Detroit Mercy 0-10
Mississippi Valley State 0-10
Texas Southern 0-8
Georgia Southern 0-11
(What are the odds one of these squads are on next year's schedule?)

St Thomas looking to snap the Polars 3 game win streak today.

Illini with a 44-27 lead at the half over Colgate. (Just did not realize how big Terrence Shannon is.)

Ball State losing to Indiana State 40-29 at half. Ball State with a couple good sized players. Not saying they are good, but decent sized.
Indiana State has a Jokic clone packing the stat line and have steamrolled to a 10-1 record thus far after this win

That dude is a trip. Had to look at him about 3 or 4 times because I couldn't believe it was him they were saying was so good.
For some reason he didn't play in the game they lost to Alabama.
edit: Looks like he didn't play in their first two games. Maybe hurt?

Apparently their enrollment is 100.

Go Gophers!!
I have a couple cousins who went there back in the 1970s. It can't be over 250 in enrollment. Looking at their website and Google maps it is basically a camp with a handful of buildings.

Nebraska getting a win at Kansas State would be a little helpful for the league too (and good for the Gophers specifically).
yep. looks like it moved the gophers up a couple of spots on kenpom. Nebraska held Kansas State to 12 in the second half - so a team that could score 52 on Nebraska in a second half must be pretty good
