I find it hard to believe that he would have to exert enough effort to injure himself in practice going up against that offense.![]()
Iowa's Cooper Dejean Out for Season with Injury
The news has been confirmed by the University of Iowa.khak.com
It's time for him to enter the draft before scouts start downgrading him for too much mileage on his punting legHis conundrum: go to the NFL and get paid or be MVP for iwoa. Tough choice.
5 punt return TDs and a couple pick sixes are about the only hope they have vs Ohio State or Michigan.Ouch. Tough B1G championship game for Iowa. DeJean means so much to Iowa’s defense and STs.
Yeah, they are still likely to win the West without him at this point but this is a massive loss for their defense in the Big Ten Championship game and whatever bowl game they end up in.Ouch. Tough B1G championship game for Iowa. DeJean means so much to Iowa’s defense and STs.
Agreed. He'll also be 27 before the NFL season starts next fall. Time to move on.Speaking of Taylor it absolutely makes sense for him to skip his senior year and go pro. He is good enough that he will almost certainly get drafted and could have a really long NFL career. He has been a huge weapon for them with his ability to flip the field when the offense stalls out.
Little reason to skip a bowl game if you’re a punter. I thought the main reason to skip bowl games was to avoid injury which seems much less likely for a punter in a likely warm weather bowl game. He just may have to tell them he’s not going to be a hero and try to tackle anyone on a return!Yeah, they are still likely to win the West without him at this point but this is a massive loss for their defense in the Big Ten Championship game and whatever bowl game they end up in.
If Taylor decides to skip the bowl game they will really be toast

Was joking around about skipping the bowl game, don’t think punters have to worry about shaving a fraction of a second off their 40 time.Little reason to skip a bowl game if you’re a punter.
