A game of inches, a legend is born.

Yes.

And... how on earth did he get that back foot down?

Really special. And the fact that he overcame some drops early to be so so clutch when it absolutely mattered says so much about him. Love DJ!

Wild. Nearly made a circus catch just a few plays earlier.

It was closer than it had any reason to be.
Yep, if Athan makes just a slightly better throw that is an amazing TD. The fact that Jackson almost pulled it off was unreal.

That picture doesn't do it justice. The magic of that play was how he kept that right foot off the ground long enough for that back toe to drag and that doesn't really get captured from that angle. The amount of body control and skill it took for him to do that is off the charts.

And as other have pointed out the route he ran to get open was amazing as well. He totally baited the DB into going the direction he wanted him too in order to leave that part of the endzone wide open for himself.

Only one game but Jackson could be well on his way to establishing himself at the top dog in what looks to be a strong group of WR.

Also, well done by the Zebra, great positioning and calmly signaled TD.

I'm not sure if was the same stripes that had just missed a Def PI call a few play earlier, but if so, all is forgiven.
The missed PI was the Back Judge
