Ugh, podcasts are so irritating. I would rather the guy write down his notes, and present them like a coach would hand out a scout report to the team. It would cut this down from 32+ minutes to a nice, concise 15 minute report. Unless they have accompanying video to highlight what they're trying to describe, I just hate listening to non-coaches try to scout a team.

I got through 8 minutes, with about three or four :15 second skips before I had to give up...

And I'm assuming you will drop an example of the video you mention here from yourself correct? Or just going to complain?

If you listen to it, he is sharing his opinion on the players and team based on having seen them, I don't think he was trying to give a scouting report. It's fans like this that on one hand complain about lack of coverage for WBB or Women's sports then complain how it's done.

To each their own I guess.

One standout line in the video was, for potential breakout/standout players, Maggie Czinano was his pick.

Gophers have played a few videos of her lately.

He seemed to have insights from a "watched them practice a bit" kind of a viewpoint most wouldn't have.

I'll take info. from anyone as I am happy to see women gophers covered. He is high on most gophers. He thinks A.J. is raw which seems spot on. Also he can't find much on a few recruits which makes me curious what kind of competition they played. He is high on Nia. Overall he gives me hope which is a good thing.

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking me to do. Record my own video or podcast? Or make a concise written report of what the 2 guys were trying to tell us about the team? If I can make the time today, I may try to go through the broadcast again and write up a general report of the major points they were making about each player, for anybody else who has a hard time sitting through all of that. (11-12 hour work days sometimes interfere with my intentions, so no promises) :)

I also love to get more coverage of womens hoops. I just wish they would write it down and present it. I also tend to insist that people text or email me with information, as opposed to a phone call or face-to-face, as the latter always gets drawn out and costs me time.

I'm sick of how everything is a video or podcast now too, I'd much rather read about 95% of it.

Ya, I'll wait for the written report as well. I find Kane Rob very difficult to listen to.
It seems like it should be easy...I watch Dan Patrick Youtube videos and enjoy them.
I watch Purple FTW podcasts on Youtube. He breaks them up into 4 or 5 minute segments, he uses graphics, he's interesting. You don't have to click on the ones you don't care about. It's good....that's Vikings.
Grim and JG are good on the Gophers but it's the video format again and it takes for fricking ever again...be nice if there was transcripts to all these video interviews.

I like to hear that not even 24 hours after being hired, Coach P was already recruiting 6:30am the next day after being hired. Relentless.
