All Things Minnesota Timberwolves 2022-2023 In-Season Thread

Lots of whining from Wolves and Wild fans about late starts.
Good news, you can probably turn in early tonight.

19-0 in fast break points.

I mean WTF?

Sit these lazy f-----s down, and play Knight, Minott, etc.

Gotta trade KAT.

Hes just not good. Whiny bitch. Shrinks when it matters. Not athletic.

And since the farm was sold for Gobert kinda screwed there.

They are showing a pulse at least.

Yes, make me suck on every post I've made tonight.

I stopped watching the wild at 4-1......all of sudden it's 4-3

I stopped watching the timberwolves for a bit and now they are within 1...........Hopefully the wolves can do this. All the way back and still lose would suck balls.

NBA loves them some Jokic. I guess one of guys will have to bleed out to get a call.

Good gawd!

Just doesn't seem like we'll have enough to get it done. But it was a valiant effort.

I have the gameplay for Friday night.

Someone guard Murray!

Someone guard Murray!

Someone guard Murray!

Someone guard Murray!

That would be McDaniel if he didn’t punch a wall.

Howl Wolves!!

Jokic is an NBA made superstar. He gets away with shuffling his feet and fouling so much.

How come they didnt go to the monitor on the elbow to Goberts face?

The play Gobert got called for an over the back and then got a T, no way that over in the back is called on Jokic.

No Reid or McDaniels? No chance to win. Denver did a good job corralling Towns in the 1st Half. Must have been a great Defense too, 'cuz Towns got a grand total of two free throws in the game. and forcing the Wolves to stick to shooting outside. They didn't shoot well and gave the Nuggets that big lead. At one point Denver was up by 21.

Turned it off at the Half.

Looks like they got better after that but just not enough.

Want to talk about a surprise, Memphis without Morant beating the Lakers. Now that was a surprise.

Just makes that loss to the lakers by the twolves even worse. They could have avoided Denver, had more time off, and played Memphis without Ja. Then they could have played big ball like they did to OKC, but nope they had to shit the bed and it basically ended their season.

Actually had the lead heading into the 4th Q and as late as the 6:25 mark.

- Morant hurt his hand in that first game playing the Lakers. No reason to think that he would have hurt the same hand in the same way against the Wolves.

- Just looked and saw that Edwards hit a 15ft shot with 1 second remaining to put them ahead at the end of 3. Good for them. Seems as if everybody had written them off mid-way through the 2nd Quarter if not before the game even started. Looks like they were still in the game until about the 4 minute mark. Good for them.

Just don't see them beating anybody more than once without McDaniels and especially Reid. Hope I'm wrong, but just can't see it. Only chance is if they shoot way better than their opponent and get fouls around the basket. Don't see the latter happening either.

I don't see them winning the series either (understatement), but extending it is certainly plausible. Beyond that, would need something to happen to Jokic or Murray.

I'm not saying the Wolves would be favored, but with a healthy Naz and McDaniels, I really think this would be a pretty even series.

of course, with a healthy Naz and McDaniels, they probably beat the Lakers and are facing Memphis right now.

bottom line, the roster still needs work. need a better backup PG and another 3-pt shooting threat off the bench.

That would be something. Come here and set fire to the franchise. Never give an interview or make a public appearance. Then disappear to Washington after 1 season.

Set fire to the franchise? Yeah he gave up too many 1st round picks for Gobert, but how else did he set fire to the franchise?

Isn’t that enough. I don’t believe that the team from last year with the draft picks could not have done the exact same thing this wolves team did. Plus now you basically have to trade KAT so you can pay for ANT without a huge cap penalty.
