It's hard to believe, but we had 15 players transfer last year.

We will have a bunch transfer again this year. In turn, we will have a bunch transfer in.

Not sure we really missed any of them. Still perplexed about Curtis Dunlap, though he had a huge upside a couple years ago.

I would assume it's this.

We got very nice efforts out of Dixon, with up to two more years left, and redshirt fresh #12 Darius Green, with up to three more years left. I would expect those will be the starting safeties next year, with Howden graduated and Nubin off to the League.

Darius Green made lots of plays and revived lots of praise by the TV announcers yesterday- that was his coming out party as well

Ortiz seemed to be in the safety group this year, but will be interesting to see if they try him at nickel or if he can beat Bishop or Stapp out for the other corner spot. Definitely like to see him get on the field. Crazy to realize he will only be a redshirt sophomore.

Yeah, Nickle is a very important position in modern defenses!
 

Rossi really seemed to like the nickel being a larger guy. We saw Dixon get a lot of run there this year and Williamson was a pretty stout CB. I think it's a brilliant move if the guy can cover.
 

This sounds more like a discipline issue than an off season transfer decision.

He wasnt with the team im Madison. I doubt that was his decision.

Same thought. I envisioned Ibrahim and McIrving as a thunder-and-lightning combo. Maybe it was the NIL and maybe McIrving thought PJ was going to run Ibrahim into the ground game-after-game, but I think McIrving could have given us more flexibility in both the running and passing games.

I'm thinking Dylan may go as well. Seems to not be pleased with his opportunities and convinced of his skill (probably rightly so). Like The Fleck says, there has to be a fit and if he's not feelin' it.... Hope he stays tho.

Yeah, I think it if it were his decision, we would have seen him in the portal immediately (like MJ Anderson last year).
