SoCal Challenge

Yeah, I am very interested to see how this goes. Especially since it's going to be televised?
Should be an experience. The prices stood out to me too.

Did you mean Asheville tourney, the one Gophers won last season?

It survived to Year 2, and starts tomorrow. Harvard vs. Louisiana & East Tennessee State vs. Elon.

Potential SoCal opponent Southern Illinois beat Oklahoma State last night.

And for those here for SoCal in need of quintessential fish taco/burrito of the area go to San Clemente Pedro’s Tacos, you won’t find better from here to LA!

the unlv game should be interesting. likely facing 4 guards plus significant time from unlv's 6'7" backup center

What radio station are the Gophers on? Will be driving late night, couldn't find them a few weeks ago. Weren't on 1500 or 100.3. Thank you

Gophersports.com indicate KFAN 100.3. Not sure which game you are referring to last week, but when there is a Wild (or Vikings) conflict they get moved. Wild game is early tonight (6pm) so should be good to go.

If you have the Gophersports App, I have found that quite handy to listen to games. There radio feed is available there.

Was just typing this out, but you beat me to it!

If there is a conflict on 100.3, I believe they are on 1130AM/103.5FM locally. Otherwise, the Gophersports app, or just going to Gophersports.com will get you to a free audio link and you can use your phone or computer.

I will be there for the UNLV game. Attendance for the Cal Baptist game was listed at 900 in a building that seats 2,500. All seats general admission. Shouldn't be hard to get a good one unless the UNLV folks show up in numbers
Are you with Creative Charters group? Pretty big pack of them the other night.

Even though I have spent lots of time in LA (even lived in the area for a couple year), I wasn't really familiar with San Clemente. For whatever reason spent more time in that area at Seal Beach, Huntington Beach and Laguna Beach, which all have their attributes.

Last year I saw Pearl Jam in Dana Point and we stayed in San Clemente. Loved it, both the beach area and the downtown district. Great bars and even a cool record shop.

I’m staying in San Clamente across the street from the pier, great area. It’s about 15 minutes from here to the gym. Unlike many here, I can’t complain.

if you're out that way for a bit, north on 1 in south Laguna Beach is La Sirena Grille. Good food, better beer on tap. locals place. wednesday is ghost pepper day

that said, good places to eat all along the coast.

Speaking of High Point, Thiam averaging over 16 a game for them and also 5 rebounds. 42.1% on 3's after 5 games. They are playing right now. He has 10 so far in today's game. 5 of 7 from the line and hit a 3

High Point won their game (championship) 77-72. Think Tubby hangs around for three hours to check out what's going on with his old team?
