Week 12 Other Games Thread

Games not trending the right way. Illinois playing tough in Michigan and Corum likely out the 2nd half. Northwestern has no chance to score 14 more points unless Purdue fumbles 5 times.

We're going to have to pin our hopes on Indiana over Purdue next weekend, and they are getting slaughtered by Michigan St right now...
Yup. Gonna have to hope for the rivalry factor, senior day, home field next week with IU. Still gonna need PU to play poorly. Gophers likely to be kicking themselves all winter for losing that game.

Purdue went from a pick 6 to no points on that drive. They had a INT return for a pick 6 call back for a unsportsmanlike penalty.

Purdue gets a pick 6 taken away for unsportsmanlike high stepping into the end zone, and go on to miss a field goal. Oops.

I agree, but if I was on the Titanic, I’d say cool a dip in the ocean.

Regardless, I am impressed by NW walk on Freshman, he’s got some skills.

My god is NW horrible! Looks like we’ll be banking on IU next week to do our dirty work.

Ya IU may be bad but at least they resemble a football team. Rivalry game at home and I think it’ll be at least somewhat competitive.

UCF loses to Navy 17-14. Too funny.

Vandy increases its lead on Florida 21-12.

Embarrassing for the Gators.

Illinois ties it at the big house. 10-10.

Blocked punt= how many fumbles???

IU pulled within 7 at MSU. They're starting to figure something out on O which is nice to see headed into next week. They do play hard, I'll give em that.

Watching some MAC-tion football and boy has that conference fallen off. Wonder how much mid week games hinder recruiting. League just doesn’t seem attractive.
It's money. They'd never get a TV contract like they have if they don't do the MAC-tion weeknight thing. Plus the Sun Belt, which for years was the basement of FBS, has grown and generally plays an entertaining brand of football compared to the other G5 conferences. If I'm a G5 level player, am I going to play for E. Michigan, or Coastal Carolina?

Michigan is going to mess up the West and better bowl games for B1G.

Touchdown Wildcats
Illinois goes into the lead 17-10 against Michigan. Near end of 3rd Q. Corum out; Chase Brown and Illinois D taking taking over. DeVito efficiently completing passes (16-22, 134) to keep Michigan D honest and help move the sticks. DeVito is actually pretty damn good.

Numbers 3 and 4 teams are in trouble. The SEC will somehow end up with three teams in the playoffs.

Illinois going to beat Michigan making me look foolish for all my anti Illinois takes that I still think are true regardless

Michigan rarely has to play from behind. No. 1 and 2 RBs currently sidelined. This might become a test of Michigan’s passing game, which like ours is purposely underutilized while playing lesser opponents.
