***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT ILLINOIS BOUNCE-BACK IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

I've been critical of MBS but that one would have been tough.
still needs to go up for the ball. he needs way less targets. almost every INT the past two weeks has went his direction, and every one of those INTs was a critical mistake, two of them arguably costing the team the game.

We got exposed today. Defense gave up over 500. Offense less than 200. We need 2 new coordinators.

Time to give Geary some playing time?
Maybe

Maybe there is a reason Sanford called sets with a running back and 7 linemen

And it wasn’t because we had a bunch of good wideouts on the bench

Chase Brown is talented.. but most of his good runs today have been wide open runs. Seems like we schemed wrong against them.

Just unbelievable. Things are looking agitated and undisciplined on the field. Playing scared.

Get over it. They aren’t coming back
Not a Claeys/Kill fan by any means, ceiling with them was 5-7 wins, with PJ it is 6-8. Pointing out he won with other coaches players does not mean I long for those days.

Well, that was a fun game and a fun season. Nice to see nothing has changed with the White...I mean, Maroon and Gold. Really, really sucks.

There was a push off on Illini but of course no interference call.

Yep and they replayed it 3-4 times, all with a clear view of the push and didn't mention it once.

Though to be fair the trolls on here didn't mention it either.

Illinois has just beat us at all phases of the game. Maybe we’re a 6-6 team? Maybe 7 wins. WRs not good. Bert is an effing good coach. Sorry.
Bert sucked big time at Arkansas, and he wasn’t any better at Wisconsin than others around him. He has caught some crazy lightning in a bottle here at Illinois but let’s not pretend he is that great.

Bielema's job of rebuilding Illinois may be the fastest rise of any BT team in decades. Even Barry Alvarez took five years, Hayden Fry three. This is not the first time a seemingly good Minnesota team has been ambushed in Illinois. The tradition goes way back,

Wright gets contact and gives up on route. Not great pass by AK either.

It likely won’t, but to declare he “ain’t the guy” based on 4 throws in this game/situation is very silly.
I'm overreacting in the heat of the moment. I'm sorry. I'm mad my team sucked today.

Edit: I mean he did throw 2 picks, not loving that.
