***OFFICIAL PURDUE AT MINNESOTA HOMECOMING IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

I can’t wait for PJ to say it’s all on me in the post game interview except he won’t explain what exactly he did wrong. It’s not a slight at him as KOC does the same thing for the Vikings. If you’re gonna go with the excuse that it’s all on me then you better explain what you did wrong and how you are gonna fix it.

7-5, they will beat NW, Nebraska. Will win one of WI or IA. Too bad we are never going to win the west.

Given the circumstances, as bad of a game as I've seen.

Our coaching was atrocious. The players, literally, gave them 10 free points. Our OL was owned all game. Our RBs were bad.

This was as bad as Bowling Green but it was a Big 10 game, so it mattered.

Sad performance by the offense today.

The cupcake non-conference gave false hope.
Yeah this is it. The Gophers are a good team, not great, that got hyped up from a weak schedule. And without Mo and Autman-Bell they are average.

If Mo comes back I still expect a solid 2-3 loss year though. If he's out for extended period of time 7-5.

It’s been the same in every big game except one

Can’t blame the defense.

Purdue dominated the line of scrimmage and took away the Gophers running game. Without the ability to run the ball the Gophers are a mediocre offense.

Pinstripe Bowl should be fun.

Offense is not very good, lot of smoke and mirrors we wont be favored @Ill, @PSU. Purdue is a better team.

The players played their hearts out, not great but let's face it... Fleck and KC gave away this game. They didn't put their players in good situations offensively.

And the mystery holding penalty rears its ugly head.

The playcalling in that last drive was atrocious. Three straight plays of sending every receiver straight down the field while Tanner had pressure within 2 seconds.

Horrible game, horrible broadcast (barely HD). I want to permanently erase this game from my memory.

Really disappointed in today’s offense. It seemed MN came in overconfident leading to that disastrous 4th down play. That is one of the issues with playing a very soft non-conference schedule. This loss will put this team’s ability into perspective & hopefully they will learn from this and win from here on out.

So sick of this team when things are going well that they seem so infatuated with what the press is saying about them that they forget to execute and go out and proceed to lose to a bad team. Today's another example.

Ceiling with fleck is 8-9 wins
True. He's better than some we've had but that's it for this squad for the regular season. I'm the idiot for believing it might be different this year.

Veteran squad lays an egg prior to having a week off. I'd like to see a switch at qb...but I know that will never happen.

MN sports teams ALWAYS disappoint. I'm old enough to know this but still fall for the false hope.

What all sucked today:
1. Gameplan
2. Offensive execution
3. Offensive line
4. No Mo
5. Potts. He shouldn’t have played after the first few plays
6. nice catch in the end zone
7. kicking
8. punting
9. and The refs too.
I’m sure I’m missing some.

The team has a lot of soul searching to do after this.

Jackson half-assed effort entire last drive walking to line not finding ball then not running route

Daylan right played the entire game and didn’t have a catch or a target best I can remember. That’s inexcusable for him.

2019 was as good as Gopher football will ever get. That's just the reality.

We'll see how Tennessee ranks us now........
