The Ohio State football team is the favorite to come out of the Big Ten. They have been the favorites to make the College Football Playoff from the conference. It seems like they are the most talented team on the Big Ten East side, but the West is extremely weak.

We don’t even know who the best team is in the Big Ten West. We all thought it was Wisconsin, but then they lost to Washington State last week. The Badgers come into town next week and still might give the Buckeyes some issues if they can run the ball well.

Iowa has the most disgusting offense in all of college football, having yet to score a touchdown through two weeks of the season. There’s no way that they give the Ohio State football team, or any other team that is contending for the Big Ten title, any issues.

Minnesota might be the best team in the West. They are 2-0 so far, but they haven’t played anyone good yet. We don’t know how good the Gophers are. Even if they do end up being the best team in the West, that’s a good thing for the Buckeyes.

The only other team that can rival Ohio State’s talent is TTUN. Both of these teams are head and shoulders better than Minnesota. It’s clear that as long as the Buckeyes can get revenge on TTUN in November, they will beat whoever they face in the Big Ten Championship.

Go Gophers!!

Glad to help OH-IO State if that's where we end up in December.

That said, we were giving them all they could take in Game 1 2021 until Mo went down. It would be a lot of fun for a rematch with a healthy Gophers, including Mo, if Providence offers that opportunity.

9 games to play until then but very exciting to speculate...

The gophs are exactly who OSU doesn’t want to play in the B10 title. Power running game with a QB who can hit you on play action and a defense who strives to not give up home runs. It’s the exact same model Michigan beat the shit out of them with last year.

You, sir, are 100% correct. Ohio State needs to prove that they can't just be bullied. They're fast, athletic, talented, skilled... but soft.

Watched the condensed game video on YouTube with Toledo and their defense, though improved, still has shortcomings especially in the dbs! Keep the explosive plays down and the Buckeyes wouldn't have an easy time IMO!

Yes, that's the latest hot take. All the hot take types are repeating it now.

I'd love to see what happens if Wisconsin upsets the mighty Buckeyes and the Gophers beat Sparty next week.

I’m all for Ohio St getting upset somewhere along the line, but I’d love to see Wisconsin get run out of the horseshoe. Let someone else do the upsetting.

I do agree with you about beating Sparty though. First real test for our Gophers and I’m pumped

The B1G Championship is one game.

Depending on MI I doubt a Big team makes the final 4.

I’d be a little surprised. One loss Michigan or
OSU would get in (we’re obviously the B10s only other hope given no way PSU beats them both and the rest of the west has lost) and think it’s going to be tough to see them end up with more than 1 (against each other or in the B10 title game)

Ohio State looked pedestrian against a bad to middling Notre Dame team.

As a maturing adult, I find bulletin material a bit silly, but for younger adults, it works. I'm sure this piece has been clipped and put into P.J.'s desk drawer to be pulled out if we win the west.

Did you see any of the game? Michigan won, but I wouldn't call barely winning "beating the shit" out of someone. Ohio State could have won that game too, late in the 4th. It was very close.

I assume you are a michigan fan too?

Did you? Michigan scored on all 4 possessions in the 2nd half. Michigan had 297 yards rushing. OSU never had the ball in the 4th quarter with a chance to tie. It ended 42-27.
Saying they "barely" won is crazy.
