Tell them to get the app working. I can't even open my tickets in the app, much less transfer them someplace else.

I ran into some problems with that last year so I have been good about getting the tickets to the wallet before I head to the stadium this year.

As a side note... I am a bit sad because tomorrow will mark my fourth missed home game dating back to 2006. I have our niece/goddaughter's wedding. I also missed the North Dakota State game in 2007 due to my aunt's funeral, and then the Wisconsin games in 2015 and 2017 for my son's opening weekend and road trip to the iron range for high school hockey.

Everyone should get used to saving them to their phones rather than pulling them up in the app. But really....the ticket provider service should be expected to be reliable enough where this isn't an issue. And there should be an option for physical tickets.

you just need to call and they'll print your season tickets out and send them to you

I take it that they are just generic tickets? Like....they don't do the ticket book anymore?

I couldn't rightly say about the book -- but they do have different pictures for each ticket (iirc). A friend of mine, his mother gets her season tickets mailed to her.

Thanks, I'll have to look into that.

Thanks for the reminder! Won’t forget this week.

Kinda sad that they have to put out an official graphic like this because they know the trash software they got sold on doesn’t work with a damn.

I'm not sure it matters, but are you on an iPhone? I have the app on my iPhone and it works flawlessly. I have easily transferred my tickets to others when I couldn't use them. And getting them into my iPhone wallet is about a two minute process at most.

When attending professional sports games in Colorado (Avs and Nuggets), it is well known to download your tickets to the wallet before arriving at Ball Arena. There isn't great wifi at the arena and when you get thousands of people trying to do the same thing, it's gonna cause connectivity and function issues.

This is not a problem that is unique to the U.

I did the whole season before game 1

The difference is that the U of M app has issues even when you are at home on 300Gbps wifi.
For me, it's worked fine most of the time, but for the 10% of the time it doesn't work it is very frustrating and shouldn't happen.

Also they had the whole maroon-background app to gold-background app switch that wasn't an auto-update (at least not on Android) so some people might uknowingly be using the old version of the app.

Is your app icon gold background with maroon M? If not, you have an older version of the app that likely won't work.

The app doesn't actually do anything other than load a browser that takes you to mygophersports, anyway, when you click "manage tickets". So yeah, you can do either.

I downloaded mine to my gpay wallet. I think that's what my phone defaulted to. Didn't even know u of m has an app tbh.

What gets mailed to us is a very generic printed ticket with no graphics. Had to call the first couple of years but we are now in the system as analog tix to be mailed.

I just noticed some talk about other locations having issues.

Apparently the ticket provider Paciolan had issue at several places last week ... so it's not just a U thing... well not all the time. ..

The ticket office will still print out your season tickets if you so wish to do so.
