Minnesota ranks #1, tied with UCF, in total offense allowing just 91 yards
9 teams shutout their opponents, including Minnesota (Wisconsin, Kansas State, Texas A&M, Duke, UAB, New Mexico, Alabama, Toledo, and Minnesota). Of the 9 teams, 3 played FBS opponents (Alabama beat Utah State, Duke beat Temple, and Minnesota beat New Mexico St.)

Win like we had in game one isn't likely to move the needle much. MSU will be our first chance to really get anyone to take notice.

If we give up fewer than 100 yards and zero points each game, all season, we’re gonna win a lot of games.

The Gophers have held their opponents under 16 points in 10 of their last 12 games.

Only Iowa (27) and Nebraska (23) eclipsed this number during this stretch. Nebraska got off 16 on a garbage time drive in the last minute.

This is a run of scoring defense that likely hasn't happened at Minnesota since at least the 1960s.

There's a very good chance the trend will continue over at least the next 2 games.
