Donielle "Nuke" Hayes Commits!!!!!

Might have to see if I can find that game on YouTube to watch again.
During COVID that game and a bunch of other recent gopher games were posted to youtube. 2018 Axe game as well.

Hoping to be doing a "Nuuuuukkke" cheer at TCF for those great catches in the future...

Also "Nuke" has a better sound to it than "Bucko"...
After a touchdown I think they should play this! Not to whole song, but the bomb/ whistle sound effect and the Gap band singing "you dropped a bomb on me!"

One of my jobs in the early 1980s allowed for a radio to be played in the workspace. A very diverse group (age, sex, race, socio-economics) worked together and the deal was the radio station rotated over the week.

Anywho, heard this song a lot when the pop station was up and enjoyed it then as well as now. I was more of a Radio Free Europe or Rock Lobster type but got more than my share of funk back in the day.

Great recommendation!

"Rock Lobster!" Ha! Reminds me of Uptown in the early/ mid 80's! My middle brother was a into that seen (not a Baldie).

Way off topic! Baldies (not a band) were an uptown original The Punk Seen was pretty big then. Much later I was able to talk to one of the members of "Blind Shake". Another Punk band. Lots of music in the Twin Cities!

Lived in Athens from 1977 through 1984. Got to see both REM and the B52s when they were free...

Good times.

It could be the Benadryl I took this morning but I am very excited about this commitment and looking forward to big things from Nuke...and all of our recruits!
SUMRTBGG!
