Top 50 Returning Players per CBS

Battle is only one of 6 Big Ten players listed, if I am counting right.
Drew Peterson.....we had him didn't we?

He was that guy from Rice that at least considered MN. I am bit surprised Battle is so high - great to see it though. And is Kris Murray really that good? I thought he played OK but #31??

I think Peterson briefly verballed us.... I have the same question on Murray. Seems like more of a birthright rating to me.

That's awfully high praise.....but it's good that he's getting attention for his play. Hopefully he'll have a bit more help this season. Surprised to see Jackson-Davis at #6.

He was a Gopher for 4 days

I was on record as really liking his game but I was unsure about how well he would do going up to the B10 because he was rail thin. Extremely versatile.

I have not done any homework on any of the guys listed but should/could Garcia be in the the 40 to 50 group? Battle to me, is definitely deserving of being on the list. He was 6th leading scoring in the Big Ten and a bunch of the top guys left, right? Or is Battle the 6th leading returning scorer in the Big Ten?

At least none of the guys that Portale'd out of Minnesota are on the list.

Portale'd? Is that a word?

Surprised Garcia didn’t make it!
Really? Based on what?

Take away the PU game and two others he was an average or below average CB player in 2021. Family concerns may have contributed to his performance.

Garcia has an upside, I hope he shows that with the Gophers.

We have three players that BJ is really counting on; Ihnen, Fox and Garcia. The first two haven't played since 2021 due to knee's and Garcia missed the last half of the season plus needs NCAA waiver. I'm really excited to see all three on the floor this fall and I hope that happens.
