Nate Triplett battling cancer

Cancer has no boundaries. My thoughts are with him. Not easy.

Wow tough news. Hopefully the tumor keeps responding to treatments. Was a big fan of Trip during his time here, great guy.

Agree. Reversed my like because it seemed confusing. I like and agree with your comments. I also wish Nate Triplett the best.

My heart and prayers go out to him and his family. Many of us have been touched by cancer.

Horrible. Even worse than the VHS quality of this clip:

Really sad to see. He gave the new Brickhouse its first great moment with that scoop and score.

Very cool of Chad Greenway for putting his weight behind this. Powertrip morning show also highlighted it and posted the link. Looks like the GoFundMe is more than doing it's work. All Gopher fans should note that while the GoFundMe goal is 15k....and they've already exceeded it due to the awesome people who are getting the word out....and the awesome Gopher fans that care for the guys (and gals) who proudly wore maroon and gold....that 15k is a baseline amount. They'll need much more. Donate if you can.

Based on my own experience in taking care of someone with cancer, you go through money real fast. I went through $50K like it was nothing.

Fellow GHers as a force multiplier, a few hundred members of this board skipping one lunch and donating it can raise money to help Nate and his family in a relatively short time. It is gut-wrenching to see a family with young children go through this ordeal.

Consider donating the cost of one meal.

I donated $32. Nate was wearing #32 when he scored that TD against Air Force in the very first game at TCF Bank Stadium and gave me one of the greatest thrills of my sports fandom. What a wonderful memory! Ski-U-Mah, Nate! Keep fighting!
