A little surprised, but their OL has been garbage the last two years and they've really struggled to run the ball. That said, maybe there's some other reasons.... I'm not at all plugged in to PSU football. Still, a pretty big name in the conference.

LSU should have offered Ky Thomas. Some of these portal (especially the fast ones) transfers really do highlight how greasy NCAA can be.

Just for the sake of appearances alone, a transferring player should wait a few days after entering the portal to announce a new commitment. A same day turnaround looks odd and suggests possible tampering. Why do it? Players often tweet they are entering the portal, and submit portal paperwork, before they actually show up officially in the portal. So there is a little room, but still …
