We walked out of the Illinois game last week in the 3rd Q. Let me put this into a perspective before you react. I've sat through some poor performances and terrible seasons over the 25 years. I've seen it all...I mean I've really seen some poor seasons...but what I saw on the field last week vs Illinois was pervasive to what I saw today. There is something functionally wrong within this program and/or perhaps the entire Athletic Department. Seriously. The coaching staff needs to be evaluated. I'll give this years Football staff an 'F'. Even Jeff Horton's team had some fire and were fun to watch. PJ needs to get his sh*t together....he's not all that special. 2019 was an aberration.

This team has some talent...but the coaching doesn't seem to mesh with the talent. The current QB is awful. Just plain and simple to see. I'm sorry...I'm just being honest. Loosing to Iowa again just highlights what is wrong. Bench him. Gophers will loose to both Indiana and Wis.

Long Story short..I'm tired and no long care..today was our last hooray. I'll probably will spend my money somewhere else other than Gopher Football season tickets. I've seen enough. DONE.

Well this hurts season ticket sales for next year, fans want to puke watching this passing game, and recruits at skill positions are watching this circus. We need big winning seasons to get the better recruits.

There is a lot not to like here.

Why did you walk out on a nationally ranked team on a 4 game winning streak in a competitive game last week?

If our players and coaches had this attitude the Gophers wouldn't still be a winning Big Ten team.

I'm disappointed too, especially when the stats and the eye test both said the Gophers should have won today, but lighten up.

It could very easily be worse next year. Easily sir!

He's just tired of the same old, same old.

you know I've said that too for many many years...it's different now. I've supported the U, the coaches and players...it's just enough now. We all have our end and today I've reached that finish line.

25 years!?! LOL! Without looking, what was your reaction after losing to USD?

I have you by 14 years. Love the Gophers and seen it all. From day 1, the first year I had tickets, the answer to getting to the Rose bowl was to beat Iowa and Wisconsin. Those programs are light years ahead of us and this staff is no closer than those before them. Good coaches do not talk culture and rowing and other nonsense.
People say Wisconsin sucks, Iowa sucks and Frost sucks. Guess what, we have sucked since 1962. Ill renew I guess but it is getting closer to handing it over to the new disappointed. Wisconsin will go to the Rose bowl again. Iowa will play in Florida and we should decline.

nice reply...are you a youngster? Grow-up.
He's an apologist. The exact reason the twins have an 18 game postseason losing streak, the reason the wolves suck every year, the reason the vikings haven't been to a super bowl since the 1970s, the reason the wild don't have a cup and the reason the Gophers programs can't beat their rivals in all the major sports. He, like many others, love to pat these horrible GM/ADs and head coaches on the head and make them think they're good. Participation Trophy losers.

I'm actually more optimistic about the Gophers chances of beating wisconsin than I was before the Iowa game kicked off.

The Gophers lost but clearly were able to run the ball against the other elite run defense in the conference besides wisconsin. That's a good sign for two weeks from now. The passing game is what it is.

#scottfrostvictories and all, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them rise in the computer rankings and stat models slightly raise their chances against wisconsin

OP I can tell by the typos that you’ve had as much to drink as me.

But I don’t blame you. I just cancelled my subscriptions. I cannot deal with this horseshit. I think PJ the as a good hire but he’s obviously a bad coach.

life’s too short to lose this much. Find a other hobby.

If I had any leverage (I don’t) I’d be looking for Coyles head. Terrible AD with a terrible eye for coaches.

This bit is quickly rising up to Jer for the boys level.

I can't believe you stayed that long! I saw enough as a student from 08-11 and after paying big bucks for club tickets to the TCU game.

Though I also can't believe how much money people THROW AWAY to the MN Vikings/Twins/Wolves.

Go cheer for Alabama. Bye bye 👋

What kind of loser makes an account on a message board of a team that they are not a fan of? Someone with no friends or life outside of the internet.

I guess I'd rather be an apologist.

Life's so short that you are using your time to tell us how you are cancelling your tickets so that you can establish the new hobby of bitching about the team that you are cancelling your ticket for.

Let us know how that goes.

I’m feeling more down about this game than most. About like 2019 Wisconsin but it was a damn entertaining game. Watched at Gabes in St. Paul with obnoxious Iowa fans. If your team losing bums you out as much as this Harley Gopher maybe it does make sense to take a break.

Stocker - will you accept this:

there is room for more than just two opinions.

It's not a case of "everything sucks" vs "everything's fine."

I can be a fan of the program - want to see the team win - and still be critical when I see things I don't like.

there have been years the Gophers had virtually no shot at beating IA and WI. This year was supposed to be different.

And, for many of us, the biggest issue is that the same problems keep cropping up every week, and the coaching staff appears to be unwilling or unable to do anything about it - like making changes. that is really bleepin' frustrating. so I understand where the 'negative' posters are coming from.

Real fans don’t walk out during the third quarter of a close game of importance, or disown their team.

We won't decline a bowl invite. PJ and his circus act get a bonus for playing in a bowl game.

The staff will go to Cabelas, buy some heavier long underwear, and coach in the Pinstripe Bowl in front of 73 fans.

How dare you understand where Harley is coming from. He's a whiner and we need to scold his ilk.

Nick Saban brought 'The Process' to Alabama. John Wooden had the 'Pyramid of Success'. Belichick and Brady had 'The Patriot Way'.

All good coaches start with 'nonsense' and build from there.

Hard-pressed to think of an example of all-time great coaches that didn't have some kind of hook like that.
