WE HAVEN'T EVEN GOT TO THE MONDAY PRESSER YET

Will be in Atlanta where the focus will be Georgia-Florida Cocktail Party...in this case at a very nice lake home on Lake Lanier in the North Georgia mountains.

Plan to have an earplug listening to the Gophers while watching the Dawgs at the same time.

Ski U Mah and Woof Woof Woof!

Penn State vs. Ohio State lost some of its luster with PSU losing to Illinois this weekend. But yeah, this is a really impressive list of games with some key matchups. Most notably Mich/MSU and Iowa/Wisc. Both those games will have big implications on their respective division races. And for MSU it will finally be a chance for them to prove they actually belong in the top 10. My suspicion is that Michigan will show that MSU is way overrated but it is a rivalry game so anything can happen.

I kinda want total chaos outside of the Gopher game!
Gophers over Northwestern
Penn State over OSU
MSU over Michigan
Wisconsin over Iowa
Nebraska over Purdue

This would totally wreck the CFP for the B1G, but so much fun to see the carnage!

Michigan should win, Ohio state will score another 50 and probably Wisconsin finds enough offense and defense continues to play well.

  • Rutgers at Illinois (Illinois wins 12-10)
  • Minnesota at Northwestern (Minnesota wins 20-13)
  • Purdue at Nebraska (ohh... tough one. Nebraska wins 22-17, but I'll be pulling for Purdue just for giggles)
  • Indiana at Maryland (Indiana wins 13-10)
  • Michigan at Michigan State (Michigan wins 24-17)
  • Penn State at Ohio State (OSU wins 40-20)

Mn @ Nw
Ia @ Wi
Pu @ Ne
Mi @ Mi State

Are the ones I'm most interested in

Yeah, we'll find out more about a few teams and lots of separation will happen which is fun. Looking forward to seeing how it shakes out. I believe Wisconsin beats Iowa ugly, Mich sneaks by MSU (both are overrated IMO), OSU hammers PSU, and Neb sneaks by PU.

Still don’t know if we will know. There is a chance they both are. There is a chance neither are.
Michigan feels like a much more legit top 10 team than MSU to this point in the season but you are correct that neither team has been overly tested.

Have seen both teams play a number of times and have come away very unimpressed by MSU nearly everytime I have seen them in action. They have some athletes and they make some big plays but they also have struggled with teams that a top 10 team shouldn't struggle with. Plus they have had a ridiculously easy schedule to this point.

Their ranking is being driven in large part by the early season win over what was a painfully overrated Miami team to start the season. They deserve credit for winning them all but like Iowa, they are not a top 10 team, good, but not top 10.

I'm curious to see what if anything PSU bring against OSU. Illinois game was the definition of a trap game for PSU and they looked like crap against the Illini. Effort similar to that gets them crushed by OSU by 50.

We should all be Nebraska fans the rest of the way in their games against West teams. Them knocking off Purdue, Wisconsin and Iowa would only help our cause at this point.

Penn St and Mich St are very much pretenders, for the East bid to Indy.

But I'm not sure if Michigan is also one. And the in-state rivalry means sooo much more to MSU than it does Mich.

I will be interested to see how Maryland looks against Indiana. I would expect them to bounce back and show out well

Would be nice if IU was thoroughly brow-beaten by the time we head there.

Nebraska just does not win one score games…

I mean....they have won a couple of one score games....but yeah, in general tight games do not favor the Huskers under Frost. They need to blow teams out in order to win.

I’ll be at my relatives place in Lake Lanier over thanksgiving. They are Auburn fans so if the game is at the same time do you know any local establishments that would show Gopher/skunk game?

tOSU should blow out PSU like the Zohan.
Whisky vs Iowa will come down to turnovers.
Michigan should beat MSU but i don’t know if either team is really any good.
Nebraska should beat Purdon’t.

Gophers by double digits over deflated NW squad looking ahead to Iowa and Wisconsin.

Sorry no but would guess a Buffalo Wild Wings would be a good bet if they are down there. Probably have to find somewhere in Gainesville. I'd start researching a little now but hard to know till you're down there. Sounds like a good time. Good luck.

Enjoy Billd!! I just spent the last week on vacation around Murphy NC and Blairsville, GA. Leaves are starting to turn. Wish I could be there with you!

MN Alumi Association Atlanta chapter has watch party at Taco Mac in Sandy Springs.

Taco Mac is good food and times. It's been a long time but met there once with a bunch of Hotlanta friends. Glad it is still around.

Just checked and there's a B Wild Wings in Gainesville. Should work just fine plus beer and wings! Better check in advance but would guess yes unless on BTN.
