It's very fun when the Gophers win! It's nice Nebraska and their coach don't like us much and we can beat them, AGAIN! Underdog Gophers at home? Take it to the Huskers! Gotta be some tears or rage in the Nebraska coaches locker room. What are the Gophers lately versus Nebraska? 4 and 1?
Go Gophers!!! Pretty much ends their National Title, Rose Bowl hopes for this year. Sorry, Frosty!

I think PJ threw a little shade at Frost on the postgame show. Something about Frosts comments at media day. Anyone else hear it.

They love to justify their close losses against Michigan and Oklahoma as progress, then they lose to Minnesota and they suddenly want to blame Martinez. Well, Martinez did more to win today than lose that game for Nebraska.

Nebby fans just can't face it that they aren't that good. Bad teams lose a lot of close games.

I don't really want to talk smack about Frost, cuz I don't give a rat's @## about him... or Nebraska, for that matter.

I did enjoy seeing that douche Bryce Benhart screw the pooch all day, esp. on that safety, though. I really enjoy his suckage, esp. against the Gophers!

He's taking a lot of talking points towards Frost.

At media day is when Frost said "We aren't into slogans" or something to that effect.
PJ is preaching "culture, culture, culture" today. In 2019, we were 7-1 in narROW games. That's culture. Culture is connecting people. Kids are put in situations and practice "narROW" situations so we know what to expect. He says "narROW" games because it has "ROW" in it. (PJ did say that).

That's culture.

I wasn’t able to hear/watch? What he say?

I normally would agree, but at this point, I'm more worried about the kid and his decision making and also his mental health. If you chose to play for Scott Frost, have the losing seasons that you do, and then have to face Frost after losses, as a 19-20 year old, you hope his mental health is okay.

I used to hate Nebraska. For no real reason except they leathered us by like 80 points once.

Then i went to a gopher game there (Cobb masterclass and we won). Great fans and they also hate Iowa. I like them ‘corners to be honest

NarROW games? That's really, really good... especially considering Frost's dismal record in one score games.

Touche, P.J.!

Frost made some comments at media day about not needing slogans. I think Fleck sort of came back at that in a mild way.

I'm working on finding it.

And Fleck came back today with "narROW" victory. Throwing yet another new slogan out there at a coach who is suffering for close losses.

It's too good really.

No smack to talk to the Huskers. Happy to get a win. I’ll smack talk the media, especially Game Day crew. Not one of them said the Gophers would win and they mocked the $5 broken chair trophy. Acre you and your SEC bias. Georgia 2x in 3 weeks? Really? Also besides the media if it was Becky or Iowa that’s a whole different story.

I feel that way about Martinez... but Benhart, not a chance. Not only did he turn his back on Minnesota, he's run his mouth on several occasions, too.

I had to turn off the Big 10 network postgame.

They were talking about Nebraska losing to us in the same breath as their loss against Illinois. Really good teams like Nebraska can't lose to teams as crappy as MN.

Well, Fleck and the boys need to make sure that they can't make those assumptions again...

Actually for Martinez he had a very good game today. The safety was ugly but otherwise managed their offense very well. Fortunately not good enough.

They do have a reputation of being nice people who treat visiting fans well. As long as they keep beating them. Ask Missouri fans what happens when a team that usually loses to Nebraska beats them a couple of times.

That "niceness" disappears.

That is the crap that we cant seem to get past. No media love, ever. But who cares today. I cant recall a recent game that I have had more enjoyment at.

Now that we won can we agree it was only because Nebraska is terrible, similar to how we knew Purdue is terrible because we beat them?

Yeah, I don't have a problem with Nebraska. I like them in the B1G (can't say the same for Rutgers or Maryland). Nebraska was a great football program at one time and probably will be again someday. I think even this year, they are much better than their record. I see this as a quality win for us.
