Second play of the second quarter was the last time Miami could take the lead

The second play of the second quarter Was the last time Miami ran an offensive play with a chance to take the lead on the possession.

What you don’t realize is that what if’s count for double. Did you factor that into your post?

Certainly got hairy in the 2nd half, but an interesting stat that we had the game somewhat in control.

Well, no problem then.
Nobody said that in this thread.

Not nearly as big of a problem as some are making it though.
People want to make it like we tried to give the game away. When they got within a possession Minnesota built the lead back. When they got within a possession a second time they never saw the ball again.

offense was awful in the third quarter but executed when it needed to in the fourth.

All while playing the first game without its best player.

Not great and needs improvement. Not the end of the world.

OK. Strange they decided to finish the game.
Both teams decided to keep playing in the second half. Minnesota offense was disjointed in the third quarter. The nerve Miami had to keep playing. Nice job by Minnesota overcoming the bad third quarter to really never give them a legit shot at winning the game.

when they cut it to 1, Minnesota really needed to produce and they put together a nice touchdown drive.

It's a good point. Considering all the power five teams in dog fights with or losing to G5 or FCS teams.....we did actually remain in control even though we let Miami back into the game.

Yeah. Disappointing they didn’t go away. Not ready to fire anybody

The same people saying MN can’t count this as a win probably considered Indiana’s loss to Ohio state a win last year
