Not surprising. Even if the transfer rule doesn't get approved soon, one would assume he'll get a waiver given his family situation and will be eligible in '21.
Every single transfer happening in the off-season between the 20 and 21 seasons, should automatically get a waiver, if it's their first time transferring. 100% agree. I just want a steadfast rule on transfers instead of the current "NCAA wheel of fortune" that happens now.
