I mean, they are 0-4 in 2020. Worst team in the Big Ten.

I mean, they have to seriously consider firing Franklin right? Kirk C must be a horrible OC.

I mean, what about all their Top 10 recruiting classes?

What are they gonna do?!?? This is unacceptable right?

:rolleyes::unsure:

What's your point? Should we be complaining about Penn State when they aren't even our team?

Yeah if I was a Penn State fan, I'd be upset also. Even more so than I am about the Gophers. I don't see why you would post this on a Gopher forum though? What do they have to do with us?

In the past 4 years, they've gone to the Cotton, Citrus, Fiesta and Rose Bowls. I highly doubt their fanbase is shrugging their shoulders and saying, "Oh, well. It's 2020."

People need to have some perspective. This is not a normal year. It's hit some programs harder than others. But if multiple teams that are perennial Top 10 recruiting teams (including the defending national champion) can't figure out which way is up, it says something. Those questioning PJs job security are insane. These are the same folks who wanted to hand him the keys to the state 1 year ago

Minnesota is in a worse position than Penn State is by far. Penn State can get recruits and turn things around way faster and easier than Minnesota can. Minnesota is happy if they get one four star each year and has to hope and pray we can get decent guys and can coach them up (if the coaches are good enough to do that).

The Gophers will take years if ever to get back to being a Top 25 program, let alone on a semi-consistent basis. Penn State will be back there within the next couple seasons and probably multiple times before the Gophers are.

We're on a collision course with Penn State in the 6th place game. Unless they sink even lower and lose to Rutgers.

A year ago on this exact date, we watched national commentators complain that the Gophers were robbed for not being ahead of Alabama and perhaps Clemson in the CFP rankings after going to 9-0 with a win over undefeated Penn State.

Life happens fast.

You think they're thinking their program is doomed and they have no talent to work with?

Quite a few 1-loss teams in the East right now. Not so sure Rutgers will be battling for the bottom given how MSU and Michigan look

We'll know a lot more about toilet bowl positioning after Illinois and Rutgers decide this thriller

Penn St could beat Rutgers, Michigan, and Michigan St. They could do something weird and shock Iowa next week.

For the record, it's uncommon that our record may end up better than PSU's...even through their dark times after 1999.

Right now though we might be on track to do it two years in a row...IF...

Unfortunately, that's a very big IF...

This is a rough year.

My policy is I'll give kudos for anyone doing things good, I'll chalk everything else up to "well it's 2020".

Doesn't mean games like last night didn't hurt, but I'm not going to go too far off the deep end for 2020, that seems like a mistake.

Very spot on overall

In making this OP, I dare you to venture over to the PSU boards and see what their fans are saying. I'll give you a preview: It ain't kind to KC.

We would take him back

From a long term football perspective, the answer is no.
From a harboring pedophiles standpoint, yes.
