This could be a major get for the Gophers. FINALLY some good news - it's been a while!

He would be an instant starter here - he would be a major impact player who would be NFL bound afterward. The good news is after the Gophers offered he closed up his additional recruiting and turned down the likes of USC and UCLA who have seen him plenty the last few years.

I’ve got to think he decides pretty quickly at this point. He’d be a great fit. I really like their young LB’s, but by plugging in Fields it allows them to ease those guys in. I’ve got my fingers crossed.

I’ve never seen that. It is indeed a word.
Ha! Fair enough.

Though when you put a word into Google and all that comes back are entries in online dictionaries, that might be a hint that the word has fallen out of common usage ...

He’ll probably wait until the last possible moment, in case one or more of the three schools announces they won’t be playing this year. That’s what I would do.

What is the last moment you can transfer to a school, enroll, and be eligible for the fall season?

Genuine question. We're almost to August. I feel like fall camp, traditionally, would be coming up soon.

Thinking out loud...I would think that you have until school starts. Also meaning that you couldn't practice with the team as you haven't enrolled and haven't been accepted. Must allow a few days for the process to play out.

He might be waiting for acceptance into the program he wants.

I just don't what to think of a guy who returns his own fist bump with a high five...

i was also in the 205th, when it was here @ Camp Atterbury...Indiana. ACRC. Then retired and stayed in Indy.

Who?

I suspect he was talking about Sori-Morin. Early on, a lot of people thought he was slow and clumsy, because he was slow to react on a few plays, but he’s actually fairly athletic. Here are his high school testing numbers:

——

lub|ber¦ly
/ˈləbərlē/

adjective
  1. 1.
    ARCHAIC•DIALECT
    big and clumsy.
"they employed two great lubberly men"

  2. 2.
    INFORMAL
    characteristic of a landlubber; unseamanlike.
"the lubberly and untidy habits of members of the crew"
adverb
ARCHAIC•DIALECT
  1. in a clumsy or unskillful manner.

I just looked at his twitter - he had a poll asking people where he thought he would go to -- almost 10,000 people voted - and the majority thinks he will end up rowing the boat!
