The Cheese-It Bowl has sort of moved around:

Here is the Orlando Bowl Game sponsor history:

  • Blockbuster (1990–1993)
  • Carquest (1994–1997),
  • MicronPC (1998–2000)
  • Florida Tourism (2001)
  • Mazda (2002–2003)
  • Champs Sports (2004–2011)
  • Russell Athletic (2012–2016)
  • Camping World (2017–2019)
  • Cheez-It (2020–present)

Could we please call it "Cheese it , the cops Bowl?"

Woulda been exciting news for Glen Mason and Jerry Kill (y)

Way better than the Goldfish bowl.

Should be noted, that the referenced bowl game in Orlando in this article is NOT the bowl game involving the Big Ten, which is the offshoot of the Citrus Bowl. Gophers were in the Citrus Bowl game in 2014 season. That game has changed sponsors much less frequently, having Cap One for a long time, Buffalo Wild Wings for a short time, and now VRBO.

The referenced bowl game in this article is the one that is played a few days before the Citrus Bowl and involves a Big 12 vs. ACC match-up. It has changed sponsors a lot, as the article showcased. It has even changed cities three times. But, it is not the one involving the Big Ten. Gophers could not go to this game.

(Not implying anyone would think that, just noting it for clarification)
