I'm for the Buckeyes because I'd like to see a BIG team win a national championship. Compelling matchup: OSU v Clemson or LSU or Georgia or Oregon (?)

There is only one answer as already pointed out. Plus we need the BiG represented in the CFP.

Thanks for the compliment. You have to be pretty thin skinned to ban someone for what mild stuff I posted.
 


OSU, obviously. I want Big Ten representation in the CFP. WI won't be there even if they beat OSU.

We will likely never be in the elite tier like OSU, Bama, etc. but achieving success/excellence is tough and maintaining it is even tougher. Just ask Texas, Florida State, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska.

As long as TO$U is as dominate as they are. The rest of the B1G is like a Mac conference. A competitive imbalance is not a good thing. Without any hope for anyone but TO$U. We are all fighting for 2nd place. I'm not good with that. You shouldn't be either. Even if Wisconsin somehow beat them. They are in. Anytime that someone beats TO$U in conference it is a good thing. I don't know how many 5-star recruits that they have compared to Wisconsin but on paper we are not in the same league. Neither are you or anyone else in this top heavy conference.
 

Ohio State and it's not even close. I want another 59-0. If Wisconsin shows up in a bowl game and earns some conference pride, fine, but not here.

It's really disappointing that the board is no longer censoring crude, vulgar language. (I edited the quote myelf, to what it should be)
 

Ohio State all the way. I could never root for Wisconsin unless their win had a tangible and direct benefit to the Gophers. That’s not the case this time. I hope the Buckeyes beat them even worse than they did a few weeks ago.
 

I would much rather see any other team in the B1G win and go on to the playoff than TO$U. We need more competitive balance in this league. Maybe because the Badgers are so much closer to being a playoff team than the Gophers. Its easier for me to see the big picture.

Yeah OK. The reality is that the Badgers and their fans continue to disrespect us. Snow angels on the M sounds innocent until you realize that was their version of legally pissing on the M of Minnesota. No margin of victory and physical dominance of OSU over Wisconsin could be enough. Next weekend, for four hours, I will be a Buckeye.

LOL So you are comparing "Snowangels" to pissing on the M! Yeah! I guess that makes sense.

I'd agree Wisconsin is better than us (after yesterday would be hard to say otherwise) but I wouldn't say Wi is much closer to CFP than we are.

As you mentioned, tOHSU recruits higher level than rest of B1G. Wisconsin consistently outperforms their recruiting rankings, hats off. Their inability to recruit like toshu, despite their success, will probably keep them in 2tier, ehe tier MN is currently chasing

Big picture, I root for b1g, except Wisconsin and Ia. Nothing personal, I respect both programs, but don't like them
