I think we scrimmaged Creighton last year too, right?
I like the fact that these are all closed door scrimmages with no viewers and little pressure. These scrimmages should not be big deals and should just be low pressure tools to find your weaknesses and make the team better. The moment you start letting people watch/televise it, it will be overloaded with sponsorships, advertisements, and everyone trying to get their game on primetime. The main focus of these events would no longer be practice and the players but on the atmosphere and the program. We already get that for about 30 regular season games, a conference tournament, and the NCAA Tournament. I think we can let the coaches and players keep this one to themselves and work on things that they have want.This thing is so dumb. And they won't allow a charity game now. Why not make all of these charity games and let people actually watch?
