I don't like this rule

I mean considering you can call it the instant the bucket goes through, it is impossible to Inbound the ball before then. Don’t allow them to score, now that would be an acceptable choice

They can until the other team has the ball in possession out of bounds to inbound it. That is why they call it immediately. I don't see why this is an issue.

I agree, it's a dumb rule. Once the ball goes through the hoop the possession should lie with the team about to inbound the ball. You should not be allowed to call a TO unless you have possession of the ball. If someone in your jersey is holding the ball, you're good to call one.
